We believe 3D printing technology can transform the architectural industry, where potentially a huge amount time can be saved. The conventional practice in the industry which creates the plans in Autocad, 3d model Sketchup resulting in huge inaccuracy in terms of 3D build files thus not compatible with 3D printers. Further debugging of files and maintenance of 3D printers may potentially be a pain as well. Thus to tackle those issues mentioned, Makeyverse offers a variety of services that is directed for the architectural scene.
3 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET YOUR 3D PRINTS
No files? No problem! There are 3D models you can download online from places such as Thingiverse. We also accept 2D drawings or anything to convey your ideas to our designers so that they can convert your ideas into 3D models and eventually 3D Prints.
As we seek to improve our customer experience, the ordering channels may upgrade / change from time to time.
This page will always reflect the ordering channels that are currently available.
STEP 1
EMAIL US
Send your files to makeyverse@gmail.com
To help us understand and serve you better, do include the following details if possible:
-
Quantity
-
Colour
-
Print settings (optional, include if you have a preference)
-
How will you use your prints (optional)
-
Self-collection or delivery to address (do include address for delivery)
We prefer .stl files, but we can also accept other file types such as .step files on a case by case basis, do email us to check your file eligibility.
STEP 2
REVIEW AND CONFIRM
Review the prices of your 3D prints and confirm if you would like to proceed
We will inform you of the price of each print upfront, and only begin printing when you have confirmed that you would like to proceed.
We will also check your files to determine the best print settings and ensure printability, and let you know if there any recommended changes to the design.
STEP 3
COLLECT YOUR PRINTS!
Collect your prints
when they are ready!
We will inform you once the prints are done, and you can collect it from our premises or sit back and let the print come to you if you have arranged for delivery.
Fused-Deposition Modelling (FDM)
Fast | Affordable | Wide variety of materials and colours
What is FDM:
A moving printer head deposits extruded material layer by layer to form a 3D object. It is the most common form of 3D Printing.
MATERIALS
Polylactic Acid (PLA)
the most common 3D Printing material, for general use
PETG Carbon Fiber
Lightner and stronger parts
Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU)
Flexible rubber-like parts
Colours:
Black, While, Silver, Transparent, and others*
SPECS
Print Volume
350mm x 350mm x 400mm or up to 1000mm x 1000mm x 1000mm**
Accuracy:
z-axis: 0.05mm to 0.3mm
(can be specified, default is 0.2mm)
x-y axis: 0.1mm - 0.3mm
(slower print speeds result in more accurate prints but is more costly)
* For other colours, printing may take longer as we do not readily stock every available colour. Do check with us for availability and lead time
** available on special request, lead time for prints exceeding 350mm are typically longer
FDM
Stereolithography (SLA)
Detailed Prints | Accurate and Precise | Smooth Surface Finishing |
Strong and Durable | Watertight | Shorter lead time for large prints
What is SLA:
Photopolymer resin is selectively cured using an ultraviolet (UV) laser layer-by-layer to form a 3D object
We use industrial SLA printers for better accuracy, precision, range of materials, and larger print volumes
MATERIALS
Tough and Durable
Heat Resistant
Clear (Transparent / Translucent)
Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU)
Flexible rubber-like parts
SPECS
Print Volume:
500mm x 500mm x 500mm
Accuracy:
0.1mm or less
Colours:
Grey, While, Brown, Translucent, Transparent
SLA
