1. 3D Printed Building Models
Such housing models was printed by floors entirely to minimise unnecessary supports and for the ease of assembly. Customers are recommended to prepare their 3D sketch files done in Rhino as it is been tested and by far the most compatible software to 3D print. Alternatively, Makeyverse team will work with you to recreate the file using existing plans and models.
2. Large Scale Application of 3D Printed Tiles
The SUTD 10th Anniversary Time Capsule project was by far the most challenging as the Makeyverse team was requested to produce 3000 pieces on unique tiles with a short span of 28 days. This project showcase the flexibility of 3D printing technology of 3000 unique pieces that were specially generated by computer using parametric modeling.
1. 3D Printed Building Models
Printing of models by floors: Our approach to print building models is by per floor plates or best orientation to prevent unnecessary supports. We have large printers which are 350mmx350mm which can print the entire site plan as shown on the picture on the right. This allows minimal assembly and is ready to use right out of the printer.
2. Large Scale Application of 3D Printed Tile
We have also works with companies on unit models for their show flats. Having the entire unit model printed reduce the labor to assemble, which maintain high level of details within the model.
Things like furniture, cabinets, wall patterns, screens, doors, staircase and even room labeling are able to print in one piece.
